Epic stupid, part 125372
http://www.wlbt.com/Global/story.asp?S=12905283
Investigators say [the arrested individuals] tried to pass off a block of wood and a notebook binder with paper as computers.
It recalls H. L. Mencken's old saw, that "No one ever went broke underestimating the intelligence of the American public." Still, I doubt that a confirmed cynic such as Mencken would have predicted that anyone would go to jail for the same (mis-)underestimation.
If those two clowns should happen to go broke bailing themselves out of jail, would that refute the assertion?
